If you’ve seen the movie ‘The Matrix’ you might be familiar with Neo’s favourite phone.
At a press conference in Barcelona on Sunday, the company announced the Nokia 8110 4G. It’s a rehash of the Nokia 8110.
Back in the 90s, ,Nokia was the most famous brand. During these years, the movie Matrix was released. In the scientific thriller, Neo (Keanu reeves) can be seen using the infamous banana phone. The phone got really popukar at that time thanks to the movie.
HMD is the maker of latest Nokia Brand phones, at present. The slightly curved handset has a slider that lets you answer and end calls. HMD is creating traditional black and banana yellow versions.
The phone will feature a 2.4-inch QVGA display and a 2-megapixel rear camera. Inside the phone there’ll be a Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage.
According to the company officials, there’ll also be an app store featuring facebook only.
Dont forget the best feature! 25 days of battery standby and the retro snakes game!
The latest model will also be able to tether a 4G connection to your laptop. Furthermore the new Nokia 8110 will be available in two colours: Traditional Black and Banana Yellow. It will be available from May 2018. The profit margin is probably negligible. But each handset is great marketing for the new Nokia. It’s the same strategy Nintendo has with the Classic consoles: sell an inexpensive, nostalgia piece that keeps their name out there, to sell more Switches. The price will be near to 98$ accordinh to experts.
Nokia 8810 banana phone can be considered favourable thanks to its 4G connectivity. Although, HMD is pioneering it as a chance to switch off but you can still remain connected.
